There is a lot written about water in trade journals, academic forums and newspapers and other technically oriented books, magazines and web sites. The general publics exposure to the many water issues in today's society comes mainly from the local newspapers. Some samples of articles are shown below.

While these articles can be very informative, they rarely tell the story in-depth. However, true solutions to the issues involved will probably not come from our leaders. True solutions depend upon a heightened awareness of the general public and a collective change in our society's use of natural resources.
